After 35 years in the insurance and investment industry I have watched in amazement as frustrated retirees ask a simple question "what's the best way"? The industry piles on more and more regulations and frustrated retirees realizing that the industry must not have understood their complex questions, so they ask it differently, "what's the best way"? Impossible to share the math of retirement under the wet blanket of regulations, I retired and filed my u5 to scream from the mountain tops "are you looking for Better-Retirement-Income?"

I am a well-read, conscientious retired investment advisor with uniquely blended experience and certifications from both the securities and insurance industries. Trusted and often recommended by clients, friends, and family, my previous experience includes founding several first in class technology companies.
Some of my past achievements. Include earning an SEC Principal license. Co-Founder of a Workman's Compensation EDI software company; co-creator of an Elite Advisor online educational system, introducing affordable pre-paid dental to the largest GM distributor, several municipalities, defense contractors, credit union while generating philanthropic dental services for children.
I became an Independent Broker in 1986 while placing in the top twenty with Mutual of Omaha. Co-founded SAC3 to create one of the leading EDI workers' compensation software systems. SAC3 ultimately rolled up WICS (EDS workers comp system).
As treasure for SAC3, I raised capital, filed regulatory memorandums, and worked with local and national Venture capital companies. SAC3 was awarded the Deloitte & Touché LLP RMIS/Lab recommended solution in 1996 and the Risk & Insurance Award Top Risk Management Solution in 1997. Today SAC3 core components power numerous Third-Party Administrators, Healthcare systems, States, Pools, and Municipalities across the U.S., including Fortune 500 companies such as Warner Brothers, WAL-MART, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and American Express.
In 1982, I broke my back in an industrial accident. I quickly learned of the various pitfalls of typical insurance policies and unacceptable claims practices, emphasizing disability claims, executive compensation, and group benefits. My desire to ensure my clients never faced such uncertainty drove me to become an insurance broker. In 1985, I was 13th in the nation for overall disability sales at Mutual of Omaha.
Very knowledgeable on the most technical in-depth aspects of investment metrics. Our investment approach is based on a belief in markets. Rather than attempting to predict the future or outguess others, we draw information about expected returns from the market itself-leveraging the collective knowledge of millions of buyers and sellers as they set security prices. Trusting markets to do what they do best-drive information into prices-frees us to spend time where we believe we have an advantage, namely in how we interpret the research, how we select portfolios, and how we recommend service for clients. We take a less subjective, more systematic approach to servicing clients. An approach we can implement consistently and clients can understand and stick with, even in challenging market environments.
